Business Support
Go For It – Start a Business Programme
“Go For It” Start a Business Programme
The Go for it Programme, funded by Ards and North Down Borough Council, is a programme that will help you develop your idea of starting your own business into a business plan that will drive your business forward.
The programme will assist you with developing a business plan – a written document that describes your business; it covers objectives, strategies, sales, marketing and financial forecasts. Your business plan will help you to:
- Clarify your business idea
- Provide direction and focus
- Set out your goals
- Drive your business forward
To arrange a free meeting with an advisor, call 0800 027 0639 or visit www.goforitni.com
Support is delivered depending on how developed your business idea is. Your Business Advisor will help you determine where you are in the business pipeline. There are two key types of support:
- Early stage Entrepreneurs – people who are considering their own business but have yet to define their business ideas. Our programme helps you explore the options available and encourages you to develop ideas and move on to the Business Start-up programme.
- Go for it Programme – people with an advanced business idea which they would like to put into action. Go for it will direct appropriate resources, such as mentoring, to businesses that show the greatest export and innovation potential and/or are likely to deliver the greatest economic benefits through growth.
